This theatre reopened in 2004 after a complete restoration.

Latvian National Theatre was built on November 30, 1919 - one year after the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia.

The National Theatre creates its performances for a wide range of viewers in accordance with its main task - to provide a varied repertoire and differential ticket price policy, which allows you to watch performances of all those interested.

One of the most productive traditions of the theater, which is in collaboration with the public created over the years and has stood the test of time - a subscription system, which is the art and financially viable guarantee. It provides, first, the ability to view all the new plays at a certain time after the premiere, and secondly, to make a visit to the theater of their own cultural or family tradition.

Theatre regularly offers discounts on tickets to various social groups, as well as the special shares.
