Lido is a restaurant and amusement park at the same time. The fact that there are no other permanent venues such as this close to the centre makes it the most popular haunt for children.
The complex has a restaurant serving tasty, traditional Latvian cuisine, a bistro, and a beer cellar for the adults. A big amusement park offers a child driving school, jumpers, hills, climbers and other fun activities. Parents may also reserve banquets for children's parties.
In the winter, a huge Christmas tree is placed near the complex and a skating rink opens. On sunny weekends, the place tends to be rather crowded.
