A beautiful castle projected by famous architect Rastrelli
The castle was built in 1690-1772 and projected by famous architect Rastrelli as a winter residence of Duke of Kurzeme - Ernst Johan Biron. Now here is situated University of Agriculture, museum and the tomb of the Kettler and Biron dynasty which you can visit.
