Latvian nature is very suitable to water-tourism and similar outdoor activities. There is traditional rafting down the river, more extreme – water-skiing, and a quite esthetical sport – sailing. Latvia is famous for its sea and numerous lakes; however, it should not be surprising that there are rivers with rapids as well.
