Advanced road-network, comparative safety in travels, short distances, perfect Latvian weather – all these things suit to cycling. You can travel yourself, or you can join one of the numerous programs and trips offered by Latvian cycling and tourism clubs.
For convenience, there are modern cycling lanes in several Latvian cities, which are marked by special sign with a bicycle. Such development of cycling tourism allowed this type of outdoor activity to become closer to European standards.
One of novelties is that now it is possible to rent a bicycle in one city and to return it in another one.
